Adding yet more capacity to its Ukrainian photovoltaic portfolio, Activ Solar has completed the second and final phase of its 42.95 MW plant in the Odessa region.
On June 19, the Austrian solar  company announced that the first 21.18 MWp phase of the Starokozache Power Station had been completed. Less than a month later, it has finished work on the second, 21.77 MWp phase.
Overall, the plant has been erected across 80 hectares of land and is comprised of 185,952 multicrystalline photovoltaic modules  and 41 inverters. It will reportedly generate 54,106 megawatt hours of electricity annually – enough to meet the needs of around 11,000 households.
In a statement released, Active Solar commented, "The Starokozache Power Station is the first photovoltaic project completed by Activ Solar in the Odessa region. Owing to this region’s favorable conditions for photovoltaic installations, the company is currently developing and constructing further solar parks in the region."
To date, Activ Solar has installed over 200 MW of photovoltaics in the Ukraine. It also recently opened representative office in the Odessa region, in order to support the development and the construction of a "major pipeline" of projects in the area.
SolarStar has been concentrated in the photovoltaic field since 2008, supplying the latest news, business information, bbs, material downloading, and industry analysis for the photovoltaic professionals.
It is a photovoltaic business interactive platform with 200,000 members covering all of the related fields. So it is the most influential and most well-known network in the photovoltaic in China.
