GCL new energy:PV projects of 478MW are under construction in the first three quarters - SolarStar

Hong Kong,Nov.28,2014(SolarStar):GCL New Energy held the mid-2014 corporate performance conference in Hong Kong.It listed in Hong Kong on May 9,2014.Currently,the company has branched out into renewable energy,including the development,construction,operation management of PV energy.

The data released by the conference shows that GCL New Energy has earned HK $800.4 million by September 30,2014.Its gross profit is about HK $57.3 million.The company’s owner possesses the profit of HK $39.9 million,representing an increase of HK $48.9 million over the same period last year.Basic earning per share is about 0.33 cents with an increase of 0.44 cents.Besides,the company has gained extra HK $57.3 million by redeeming the bonds from the convertible ones.

As a domestic leading professional investor,builder operator of PV power station, GCL new energy  holds the leading status by seizing the opportunity,perfecting the composition of PV markets making appropriate strategic decisions long-term plans.At present,GCL new energy maximizes the self-development,joint development the cooperation in mergers.The total projects under construction have reached 478MW by September 9,2014.And it acquired the Xiangdao PV plant in Inner Mongolia(161MW) on October 6,2014.

In terms of financing,GCL new energy strengthens the communication cooperation with banks other financial institutions.It also concerns extending financing channels adopting a lot of financial methods.Besides,controlling costs is regarded as an efficient way to balance the overall funding.The financing cost is HK $12.6 million,representing a decrease of 16.6% over the same period last year.
