GoodWe  Power Supply Technology Co Ltd, the leading Chinese PV inverter manufacturer, is seizing the opportunity to strengthen its global markets capability. The company has recently opened China’s first PV-Store for distributed solar energy generation. The direct store sales & service specifically targets the growing domestic and commercial rooftop PV market in China.

Daniel Huang, Managing Director and founder of GoodWe, says, ‘we are employing a market-based strategy that is focused on bringing new value propositions to the PV industry or by supplying different markets and segments with diversified products and services.’ For instance, GoodWe has finished the installations of 330 DT inverters for Canadian Solar’s 5MW rooftop PV project under China’s Golden Sun Program. These string inverters were used for the rooftop installations of Panasonic System Networks, CSI Solar Power etc. This project confirms the strength of GoodWe’s local presence in the field of distributed PV generation and demonstrates how GoodWe offers comprehensive solar inverter solutions to its customers.

Instead of just producing PV inverter  s, GoodWe creates a wide-range of user applications and integrated solutions, such as EzViewer for GoodWe monitoring website, which is typically designed to realize the interaction between solar PV system and users. ‘Now GoodWe EzViewer is available to download from Apple Store or Google Play’, adds Daniel Huang, ‘the underlying technologies that went into creating GoodWe monitoring solutions were not entirely new, but either the market definition or operating process was new to the industry.’
