Sungrow Strengthens the Partnership with IBC SOLARTags£ºSungrow  PV inverter  PV

Sungrow  Power Supply Co., Ltd., a leading provider of renewable energy and the largest Asian producer of inverters, strengthens their partnership with IBC SOLAR as their important partner for distribution in international PV markets. Sungrow was then the first Asian inverter manufacturer to partner with this large PV distributor in the demanding German PV market.

Sungrow, as world’s 3rd largest PV inverter  manufacturer, already met the high quality standards one year ago required by IBC SOLAR, one of the largest PV system distributors world-wide. Sungrow has already supplied hundreds of PV installations from small residential ones up to 10MWp power plants via IBC SOLAR. Ties are further strengthened by introducing Sungrow to further international markets via IBC SOLAR and their partners.

Apart from IBC SOLAR’s local market Germany, the partnership expands to emerging PV markets of the future. The first plant by IBC SOLAR using Sungrow’s PV inverters was built in July 2012 on a 5MWp basis in Maniago, Italy.

Within this partnership, IBC SOLAR’s first hand PV market experience is leveraged by Sungrow’s extensive technological knowledge in inverters and its R&D resources. The result is a strong complementary.

“Criteria qualifying products and brand partners for our portfolio include long-standing expertise, recognized certification, consistent quality and long-term availability”, said Udo Möhrstedt, CEO of IBC Solar, “Sungrow fulfills all these criteria. Therefore, we are delighted to continue our strong partnership.”

”During the partnership with IBC SOLAR, Sungrow showed that an Asian inverter manufacturer is fully capable of delivering the quality and services required by the German PV market, and can successfully contribute with an excellent cost-performance ratio to the continuation of the German PV market in the currently hard times.” said Mr. Raymond Wong, VP of Sungrow.
