Sungrow Commissioned in Several PV Projects in Canada - SolarStar

Ontario, Canada, April 23rd 2013

Sungrow  Canada Inc., a full subsidiary company of Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. (the largest PV  inverter manufacturer from Asia), recently announced that Sungrow inverters, specifically designed for North American market, have been successfully commissioned for several rooftop PV projects in Ontario, Canada and more projects are under construction.

These rooftop PV projects are located across Ontario, including a 250kW project developed and constructed by Sky Solar Canada in Toronto, a 250kW project developed and constructed by Great Lakes Energy in Sarnia, 100kW project in Scarborough and 250kW project in Toronto. By virtue of high power yields and reliability, Sungrow SG250KC and SG100KC inverters are highly appreciated by the EPCs during these projects.

Targeting the United States and Canada markets, Sungrow specifically developed inverters ranging from 100kW to 500kW, including outdoor, indoor and low-voltage models. The industry leading CEC weighted efficiency of 96.5% for 100kW/250kW and 98% for 500kW inverter, along with the adaptive edge MPP tracking algorithm and cold start-up capability ensure the maximum energy yields. Sungrow inverters can operate reliably within -25oC to 55oC ambient temperature without power derating. The integrated DC and AC breakers greatly lower the cost and increase the system profits.
