Vertically integrated PV manufacturer LDK Solar has sold shares worth US$31,110,000 to Fulai Investment.
The deal, to be closed by 28 February 2013, represents around a 12% stake of the Chinese company.
Having escaped delisting from the New York Stock Exchange, LDK Solar has already been selling stakes in the company and its subsidiaries to Chinese regional governments to offload debts from its balance sheet, support short-term liquidity and improve its stock price.
Fulai Investments is a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands and owned by Cheng Kin Ming , a Chinese businessman from Hong Kong.
SolarStar has been concentrated in the photovoltaic field since 2008, supplying the latest news, business information, bbs, material downloading, and industry analysis for the photovoltaic professionals.
It is a photovoltaic business interactive platform with 200,000 members covering all of the related fields. So it is the most influential and most well-known network in the photovoltaic in China.
